Warsaw International Film Festival has unveiled the full list of award winners for 2022 festival, which took place in the Polish city of Warsaw from October 14-23.
Warsaw Film Festival (Polish: Warszawski Festiwal Filmowy, abbreviated as WFF) is an annual film festival held every October in Warsaw, Poland which previews new films of all genres, including documentaries from all around the world. The festival has been held every year since 1985.
In 2008, it was recognized by FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations) as a competitive film festival specialized in first and second features and films from Central and Eastern Europe.
Warsaw Film Festival (WFF) is an Academy Award® qualifying festival for the short film categories. Winners of Grand Prix for Best Short Film, Best Animated Short Film and Best Live Action Short Film will be eligible for consideration in the short film categories of the Academy Awards® without the standard theatrical run, provided the film otherwise complies with the Academy Rules.

The FIPRESCI jury (Malik Berkati (Germany), Ariel Schweitzer (France) and Alik Shpilyuk (Ukraine)) presented the award for Best Debut from Eastern Europe to the film SISTERS (MĀSAS) directed by Linda Olte from Latvia, Italy.
Members of the Young FIPRESCI Jury (Jovana Gjorgjiovska (North Macedonia), Eliska Soukupova (Czech Republic), Nino Schvelidze (Georgia), Oskar Ban Brejsc (Slovenia) Amar Komic (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Haji Safarov (Azerbaijan)) were participants of FIPRESCI Warsaw Critics Project 2022.
The Jury gave the Young FIPRESCI Award for Best Debut from Eastern Europe to the film FACTORIAL JUGGLING directed by Klaudia Folga from Poland.
